Frank Lamark, Shop RTA Cabinets and Worldcraft Cabinets Research Project
Here's the Frank Lamark (Shop RTA Cabinets) public information located for you.
This is a news report, essay and editorial about Frank Lamark for the benefit of the public interest. Please read the FTC disclosure statement at the bottom of this page for additional information - thank you.
Most all the information was located easily online via Google as public domain information by searching for Frank Lamark
Fraud through Google. There are many links there on Google search so you can try to get your money back, complain or file a report. I Wish you the best on getting your kitchen cabinets from Shop RTA Cabinets, World Craft Cabinetry or Cabinets Direct RTA, however in my opinion based on the large amount of negative information available online at various sites I doubt you will ever receive your cabinets or refund directly from him, especially considering the large amount of time that has already passed. There have been some refunds made and those refunds are documented at the Chicago BBB (link below). I recommend you rethink how you view web site testimonials and "glowing" customer reviews, you never really know if they were written by the company owner or by real people. RED FLAG: A very (very) happy customer amongst many (many) that have been scammed.
You can help others prevent the experience you went through by telling your story (truthfully with no exaggerations) at the many available complaint, scam or ripoff sites or you can go to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and file a complaint so they can get involved and try to help you: Frank Lamark Shop RTA Cabinets at the BBB, and Frank Lamark World Craft Cabinetry at the BBB. They will contact Frank Lamark for you and work to try and get your already paid for items shipped, damaged or incorrect items replaced, or help you get your money refunded... but YOU must file a complaint there first before they can get the ball rolling for you. Also through other free and publicly available information (through a simple Google search) you can learn about the Frank LaMark lawsuit being brought against him and his various companies by Lisa Madigan, Attorney General for the State of Illinois. The public press release states in part "Madigan has filed a lawsuit against Click Marketing Inc., In Stock Cabinets Inc., Shop RTA Cabinets Inc., World Class Commerce Inc. and Frank Lamark Jr. based in Franklin Park Illinois". You can read more about the ban, pending contracts, restitution for consumers and information about civil penalties based on the violations of the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act at the content source site. In addition the Chicago Tribune, a well know paper, also reported Madigan's concerns for the citizens of Illinois and she stated "In some of these cases, homeowners are faced with the possibility of liens being placed on their homes all because they put their trust in the wrong people", Madigan said in the release. "Do your research before you hand over any money by first making sure you are hiring a reputable company." Read more about the Government lawsuit against Frank Lamark in the Chicago Tribune.
If you're curious about the Frank Lamark business model, it's my opinion that he accepts the customers money, usually in the form of a cashiers or credit card check (I assume he has been banned by the credit card companies for too many chargebacks and this is why cashiers checks or credit card checks are required for transactions) then he delays the order, the customer asks for a refund and they are ignored. See this potential trend for fraud yourself at the BBB where as of this writing there were 132 complaints (26 full pages) and then you can form your own intelligent opinion as I did:
Who is my State Attorney General that will help me?This is another free resource link available to you and where you can file a complaint if you feel you've been wronged by Frank Lamark.... Click on the photo for your State Attorney General, then click on their government web site link, and finally look for "file a consumer complaint" or something very similar (that's 3 total clicks). On your complaint be sure to include all known details such as what you bought, when and what you paid, what you expected that did not happen as promised, any time frames, reasons given for delays, any company excuses or explanations, items purchased but not received, items purchased but received damage, any NSF or bounced checks, how many unanswered emails you sent, or the number of voice mails you left on the 1-800 recorded message service. Give them the complete story of what you've gone through (or are still going through) so they have all the details required to settle the issue for you once and for all. I recommend you let them know how it has negatively affected your life whether physically, mentally or through the loss of your time from work or from a normal life in general etc. Lastly, be sure to have handy any of your receipts, email correspondance, money orders or cashiers check stubs, or bank, debit card and credit card statements. This is in case they request faxed copies to assist them in their investigation. The bottom line is that you want to ensure you help the government with the facts that they need... so they can help you receive the justice and refund that YOU deserve.

For a general Frank Lamark Scam Google search. Various customer complaints & personal experiences.
From the first link "Frank M. Lamark Scams" Google
search etc. you can do your own research and find more information, the above list is just a sampling of links. Instead
of using just "scam" in your research you can also include Frank cabinet fraud, Frank Lamark rip-off, Frank Lamark reviews, Frank Lamark lawsuit or Frank Lamark complaints etc. Be wary... There are many "fake" websites out there designed to hide the "real" results. It's an attempt to load up the Internet with many websites stuffed with the above search terms (and more) so on occassion you'll run into these "search engine clutter" sites and will just need to ignore them for the "real" Frank Lamark information sites. For the most part the real websites will rise to the top of the Google search engine results page naturally since Google is smart enough to know real information from fake website clutter.

Something surprizing while poking around free government
This is theOfficial County of DuPage FREE courst case research page. Instructions: On the page that comes up at this
free county government site enter his first and last name in the
center area and then press the search button. You'll see a
listing of any current or past court cases against him, some
listed as "Frank M. Lamark", his middle name is Michael. Click on the links at that site to view the court
case, fines, judgments or judge names etc. If by chance you do not
immediately get a linked case listing there but instead see a block that says
"Enter Case Number" then you can use the case number list
here: Google Case Files then
copy & paste the case number into the online search form. The above is only for the DuPage
county online court records. Due to other research in progress I
didn't have time to check the other surrounding counties of Kane,
Cook, Kendall, Lake, Will etc. If you like you can poke around at
some of these county government courthouse sites Illinois County Criminal Courts at the bottom of page) for their court cases
section. To reduce FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests many
counties now provide court case (active and closed) plus property
tax records, marriage/divorce records and more... this saves the government
administrative time, and time is money. Again, the research I did was
through "100% free" and publicly available web sites. The data
available out there on anyone is staggering but it generally takes
a little more effort then simply "Googling"
someone's name. To avoid fraud of any type whether RTA kitchen
cabinets, electronics or cat toys - I recommend you use the search engines out
there to see if there are any consumer complaints, past customer
scam reports, news stories or charges and allegations.

future with another RTA cabinet related company (God forbid) you
can also contact the FTC Bureau Consumer
Protection, report it to the FBI's IC3 complaint
